Job Description

This position is a member of the Global HR Compliance team and plays a significant role in setting direction, developing and executing the Global HR Compliance program. This position is responsible for directing, assessing, implementing, and maintaining programs, policies, and practices to ensure that Sykes’ US Operations are in compliance with US federal, state and local HR related legal/regulatory policy and reporting regulations. Proactively tracks US federal, state and local HR related laws and regulations that affect the organization's policies, recommends proactive solutions and under the supervision of the Head of Global Compliance & Employment Counsel, leads implementation efforts necessary to changes policies, procedures and internal controls. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of US federal, state and local HR related legal concepts, practices, and procedures (for example, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, WARN,), relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Proactively partners with all relevant business unit and operations personnel regarding all relevant activities/initiatives.
