Job Description

SUMMARY

This position administers the recruiting and selection process to meet the needs of U.S. Operations while ensuring recruiting practices are in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunity, immigration, and company policy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adherence to SYKES policies on ethics and integrity
  • Recruits for non-exempt and exempt level positions.
  • Develops plans and time lines to meet client staffing needs.
  • Interfaces and strengthens relationships with the HR department and Site Directors at each site to ensure employment needs are addressed in a timely fashion.
  • Utilizes resume sourcing techniques and pre-screening abilities to identify potential candidates
  • Employment advertising (paper and internet), posts positions internally and externally and candidate screening.
  • Develops networks with organizations to source for potential candidates.
  • Develops a database of qualified candidates for key positions within the organization.
  • Interviews candidates.
  • Schedules and coordinates interview times, dates and assessments.
  • Identify the best sourcing methods for respective positions
  • Participates in job fairs, open houses, and recruiting events.
  • Negotiates offers and prepares offer letters.
  • Performs reference checks, background checks and new hire paper work.
  • Identify new methodologies/techniques for sourcing candidates.
  • Develops and recommends succession planning strategies for U.S. Operations.
  • May perform other duties as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree preferred. 3-5 years recruiting management level positions. Recruiting in a high volume, call center environment preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, corporate procedures/regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
