This is an On-Site position in Montgomery, AL

* Starting base pay: $12/hr.
* Increase to $13.50hr. (once you make it to On Job Training)
* Increase to $15/hr. (after your 6-month production mark)

SYKES is looking for full-time Customer Services Representatives for our Montgomery, AL location to assist customers answer questions, process transactions and resolve their issues! You might have driven past our building off I-85 and Technacenter Dr and wondered what we do. You will get the opportunity to:

* Engage in a fully paid training program to teach you what you need to know (investing in you)
* Answer live inbound phone calls during your entire shift from different customers (get variety)
* Use a computer to navigate various screens to help the customer (improve your computer skills)
* Listen to issues, empathize and solve customer issues (be a problem-solver)

This is the right job for you if you're able to:

* Speak on the phone and use a computer
* Empathize and be friendly with people you've never met

Nice to have (but not required):

* Customer service background
* Understanding of a call center environment
* Experience with financial services, healthcare, technology companies, or something similar

Required qualifications, skills and experience

What do you need to be a successful Customer Service Representative? It is simple...

* Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
* Have reliable, consistent transportation to get to and from our location
* Computer navigation skills are a definite plus
* Ability to type at least 25 words per minute
* Previous call center or customer service experience in financial services, healthcare, technology, or something similar is a plus
* Ability to pass a 10-year background check
