GENERAL PURPOSE:This position is responsible for executing the established recruitingprocess to ensure SYKES attracts top talent. This position recruitsquality talent to meet aggressive hiring requirements for specificprograms. The position also assists in general and administrative (G&A)recruiting in support of SYKES' business units. This may includescreening resumes and applications, conducting initial phone screens,conducting interviews, making offers, and completing all associatedpaperwork for each individual hire. While the position functions aspart of the recruiting team, this position is also responsible foraggressive individual recruiting goals which are monitored daily andweekly. The Recruiter must be able to quickly adapt plans and shiftdirections in order to meet changing client requirements. This is achallenging position that is suited for a high-energy individual whomust be able to meet aggressive goals and timelines.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Ø Adheres to SYKES policies on ethics and integrity.Ø Works with management to understand current and future workforceneeds and develops improvements to staffing processes like sourcing andselectionØ Achieve 100% of assigned recruiting targets. This positionrecruits high-quality candidates in order to meet assigned goalsassociated with each client hiring goal.Ø Develops, implements, and manages strategic recruitment andemployment programs.Ø Responsible for assisting in analysis and reporting effectivenessof sourcingØ A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected withexecuting applicant sourcing plans and driving traffic while keeping inline with recruiting budget.Ø Responsible for quality of hire as measured by graduation ratesand attrition in the first 30, 60, and 90 days. This position may alsohelp Recruiting Managers to source, screen, and interview candidates forG&A positions.Ø Oversees company's recruiting programs, polices, and procedures.Ø Responsible for constantly looking for opportunities to improvethe current process and share ideas with Manager and team. Thisposition will often be assigned to research or pilot changes to therecruitment processes.Ø This position quickly learns SYKES' processes for screening,interviewing, and processing candidates on behalf of each new client andadapts quickly to changes in the process. Understands the hiringrequirements and performance expectations for each client while strictlyadhering to hiring policies.Ø Responsible for actively partnering with the operations team togauge the effectiveness of each class by monitoring a candidate'sprogress through training and their first 30, 60, and 90 days on thejob.Ø Responsible for ensuring a positive experience for everycandidate. This position maintains a positive, respectful, and caringattitude with all candidates.Ø Responsible for developing and adhering to a tight schedule forprocessing candidates.Ø Responsible for conducting efficient and effective interviews.This position must be able to conduct effective interviews which uncovera candidate's true desire, motivation, and suitability for an agent orleadership role. Must be comfortable presenting and assessing a group of30 candidates while providing the best candidate experience possible.Ø Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Ø Responsible for ensuring compliance with SYKES' hiring processesfor each client. This position implements specific hiring processes onbehalf of clients.Ø May perform other additional duties and responsibilities asassigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None Yes (See "General Management Duties andResponsibilities" addendum)EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Human Resources and 2 years of fulllife cycle experience and/or training within a corporate and/or staffingagency environments required, or equivalent combination of education andexperience.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to performeach essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below arerepresentative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.. Ability to handle heavy volume of recruiting assignments.. Strong networking and relationship building skills.. Experience cold calling into organizations to build out lists ofpotential candidates and selling currently employed potential candidateson opportunities within SYKES.. Intermediate knowledge of database and web based searches.. Internet and direct recruiting experience.. Strong communication skills, both oral and written.. Strong organizational skills.. Must be detailed oriented, self-motivated and willing to take theinitiative to get things done.. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.. Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse work groups.. Experience handling confidential information.. Ability to be flexible with multiple priorities and demands.. Knowledge of federal, state and local laws and ability to adviseon laws and regulations affecting HR practices.. Knowledge of and ability to use the organization's and industry'sstandards, procedures and policies relevant to human resourcesmanagement.

Required qualifications, skills and experience

* Adheres to SYKES policies on ethics and integrity.
* Understands the hiring requirements and performance expectations for each client while strictly adhering hiring policies.
* Understands hiring policies are set, must not be modified and ensures that candidates meet all legal requirements, completes and passes all required tests and that all information is accurately documented within our applicant tracking system.
* Achieve 100% of assigned agent recruiting targets. Recruit high-quality candidates in order to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals associated with each client hiring goal.
* Goals can be very aggressive ranging from 15-75 new hires per week, requiring screening 100-200 new applicants per week. Ability to effectively screen candidates and qualify candidates for processing through the full hiring process (50% of recruiting efforts this screening process)
* Responsible for conducting efficient and effective group interviews, presenting and quickly assessing groups of up to 30 candidates to identify a candidate's true desire, motivation, and suitability for an agent or leadership role.
* Responsible for ensuring a positive experience for every candidate by clearly communicating the hiring process and time frames, providing honest and direct feedback, guidance for future possibilities and soliciting referrals from all candidates.
* Identify opportunities to improve the current process and share ideas with the Manager and team.
* Works closely with the operations team to gauge the effectiveness of each class by monitoring a candidate's progress through training and their first 30, 60, 90 days on the job. Quickly diagnose problems and make recommendations to improve candidate quality and reduce attrition.
* Responsible for implementing high-volume sourcing strategies to attract candidates that meet the client's specifications. Actively solicit employee referrals and engage in sourcing activities to attract passive candidates.
* Responsible for training Flex Recruiters and manage their performance during peak hiring sessions
* May assist Recruiting Managers to the source, screen, and interview candidates for general and administrative positions
* Knowledge of searching resume databases (both internal and external) for identification of quality candidates as required.? Represent SYKES at community events and job fairs. May participate in creating awareness by placing posters or distributing fliers at appropriate community locations.
* May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
