Job Description



This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of global marketing projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution by defining, planning, organizing and tracking project activities. Additionally, the position serves as the principal communicator with internal stakeholders regarding project status and verifies that project deliverables align with business objectives.

Required qualifications, skills and experience

* Adheres to SYKES policies on ethics and integrity.


* Collaborate and organize internal teams to understand content strategies, scope and expected results for all projects.


* Simultaneously manage multiple projects that vary in size, scope, type, urgency and difficulty.


* Ensure smooth project execution by overseeing production and delivery of all creative assets.


* Manage both day-to-day activities from start to completion through the team's active sprint and project queue within a project management software environment.


* Manage team member schedules as they pertain to sprint goals.


* Manage feedback, revisions and change within projects.


* Manage and communicate shifting priorities to ensure projects reach completion by expected due dates.


* Identify and explain dependencies and milestones and proactively remove any roadblocks all while tracking the progress of projects.


* Drive team productivity by optimizing processes and efficiently managing resources to balance workload.


* Act as the point person between the global marketing department and cross-functional internal teams to implement key marketing initiatives.


* Facilitate definition of project scope and deliverables; plan and schedule project timelines and activities.


* Determine project roles of team members based on project requirements, time frames and budget.


* Develop project documentation to include full scale project plans and contingency/corrective action plans to ensure the delivery of results.


* Monitor activities and responsibilities of project team by using appropriate project management tools.


* Assess and report progress to all stakeholders.


* May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.



Desired qualifications, skills and experience

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field and at least three (3) years' project management experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Marketing experience desired.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

* Solid understanding of creative team structure and content development


* Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall workflow methodologies or understanding of basic Scrum framework


* Proficiency in Scrum/Kanban Project Management software (Wrike, Trello, Jira, etc.)


* Exceptional attention to detail and meticulous organization


* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities


* Positive and motivated personality


* Strong people interaction and relationship-building skills


* Collaborative work style with a focus on emphasizing accountability within the department


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills


* Ability to operate within a diverse team to learn, grow, and build the team presence


* Proficient in multiple platforms including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams or similar programs


* Proven record in successfully delivering cross-functional projects
