People are at the center of everything we do, and the Global Account Manager, Inside Sales role serves in a key capacity by developing, advancing and maintaining favorable relationships within target accounts (new and existing) as we continue to build a strong pipeline and increase sales revenue. Working virtually, this role serves as a subject matter expert on the SYKES suite of solutions and makes recommendations that align with our core competencies for large or complex target accounts. Also, partners with other teams within Global Marketing to identify, develop and deliver relevant content that effectively communicates SYKES' core competencies and addresses the needs of the vertical and drives awareness and interest.

What you'll do:

* Adheres to SYKES policies on ethics and integrity.


* Cultivate positive reputations and build relationships with decision-makers and influencers and identify qualified opportunities on target accounts for both new accounts and existing clients.


* Act as a subject matter expert, leveraging in-depth understanding of the SYKES portfolio to engage in consultative solution-selling by identifying client needs and recommending customized services that drive mutually positive business outcomes; recognize and act on opportunities for cross-sell and upsell activity.


* Navigate prospective clients' complex organizational structures while building a comprehensive understanding of key decision-makers, influencers, attitudes toward outsourcing and opportunity potential by division.


* Facilitate effective account-based marketing by communicating the clients' needs to other teams within Global Marketing.


* Develop organizational maps on target accounts that identify key decision-makers by line of business including name, title, role, operational support model and number of seats.


* Develop an in-depth understanding of the customer needs and work with subject matter experts to deliver compelling and thoughtful solutions.


* Follow current events and business news to effectively communicate with target accounts to develop relationships.


* Use best practices to identify prospect needs, uncover qualified opportunities and complete needs assessment used to identify potential solution offerings.


* Maintain a thorough and current knowledge of existing client portfolios by geography, line of business and operational support models.


* Proactively offer solution recommendations that align with SYKES' growth objectives around global footprint, skill set, product and technology.


* Conduct capability and solution overviews by phone or face-to-face and engage internal subject matter expert resources as needed.


* Capture market intelligence and identify trends that support our sales and marketing strategies.


* May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required qualifications, skills and experience

What you'll need:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree and six (6) plus years of experience required; or any equivalent combination of related training/education and experience required. Experience designing and building inside sales teams a plus. Experience in and knowledge of the call center industry critical. Previous experience in penetrating large customers vertically and horizontally within targeted vertical market sectors to achieve strong, productive, and lasting relationships critical.
