This position is responsible for building progressive programs that elevate the organization and provide thought leadership in learning and development. This position leads the execution of the learning and development strategy that builds functional and professional capability in support of the overall business strategy. Partnering closely with functional and HR leaders across the organization, the role ensures that the root cause(s) of performance gaps have been identified and that the right solutions are prescribed.

Required qualifications, skills and experience

* Adheres to SYKES policies on ethics and integrity.
* In partnership with talent management professionals across the globe, oversee the Corporate learning and development process, programs, systems and tools.
* Implement SYKES learning and development strategy, to include collaborating with the Talent Management Community of Expertise (COE), identifying business needs relative to people development, and enhancing the function capability within the organization.
* Provide structure and best practices to accelerate learning and development at all levels and regions of the organization.
* Consult and influence key stakeholders across the organization.
* Support the business in driving change management initiatives as it relates to learning and development.
* Partner with the business to support team-building activities and organizational development.
* Design and deliver training programs, team development and internal coaching as needed.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with HR business partners, COEs, operations and business leaders to balance scale with customization when implementing programs.
* Measure and articulate impact of learning and development programs and interventions for key stakeholders.
* Curate best-in-class learning and development options, keeping employees engaged especially in a remote work environment.
* May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Desired qualifications, skills and experience

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources Management or related field and 10+ years of learning and development experience in a corporate environment required; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Advanced degree preferred.

* Familiarity with learning management systems

* Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and develop productive working relationships
* Consultative approach in influencing leaders on both tactical and strategic initiatives
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to tailor to wide audiences
* Ability to work autonomously but knows when to ask for help and input
* Effective in managing ambiguity and comfortable creating a roadmap where one may not currently exist
* Ability to work cross-functionally
* Attention to detail without losing sight of big picture
* Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
