Job Description

At SYKESHome, we help people one caring interaction at a time - that includes you! Join us as a Customer Service Educational Specialist for SYKES. You will work remotely from the comfort and convenience of your own home Monday through Friday answering inbound calls from teachers, students, and parents needing help with orders and software questions.

In this position, you will:
  • Research and validate correct product ID's, assess order requests, and input entries into fulfilment system
  • Assist customers with site navigation questions, order status updates, and invoice questions
  • Promote self-service options to customers when applicable
  • Maintain client contact detail in database to track account and contact history
This program is set to last approximately through September, then you will be eligible to transfer to one of our many other client programs. SYKES agents support customers of some of the most well-known brands in the world, so our high performing agents have many opportunities to continue to be a part of the SYKES family.

Required qualifications, skills and experience

Apply with us, if you possess:

• A high school diploma or GED and are at least 18 years old

• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal with a friendly attitude

• Strong computer skills, including experience using multiple computer tabs and windows simultaneously and experience with Microsoft Excel

• Monday through Friday availability between the hours of 6 AM and 6 PM Mountain Time

• Familiarity with location based and key word searche

• Time management skills, problem solving ability, and an attention to detail

• Typing speed of 40 wpm or higher & the ability to maintain a conversation while typing

• A stand-alone computer monitor, USB corded headset, a personal computer if technical issues occur, and a quiet, distraction-free home workspace

• Customer service background (preferred)

• Experience with financial services, healthcare, technology companies, or similar (preferred)
