This position serves as a member of the Global HR Compliance team and provides administrative support to assist with HR Compliance initiatives as well as investigations and responses to employee complaints. The position works closely with and reports to the Manager of Regional HR Employee Relations.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities:

  • Liaisons with GHRC team members, corporate and operations personnel to research and gather documentation necessary to perform compliance audits. These departments include but are not limited to payroll, HR, unemployment, travel, benefits, recruiting, etc.
  • Provides intake and administrative assistance with completing detailed examinations of and resolution to employee relations matters and Anti-fraud hotline contacts.
  • Supports all employment litigation, agency investigation matters, and HR compliance projects including document collection and organization, file management and organization, and witness interview scheduling and tracking (including participation when necessary).
  • Provides project management and organizational support for global HR pivotal initiatives and functional projects. Assists with research and gathering of documentation to respond to global compliance-related inquiries.
  • Supports all HR compliance reporting responsibilities, including internal and external compliance documentation collection, review, and preparation.
  • Assists with receipt and processes subpoenas including subpoena review and tracking, gathering required documentation, and delivery of final response.


Required qualifications, skills and experience

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree and two years Human Resources experience and/or training (or equivalent education/experience); Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to use business sense, interpersonal and verbal communication skills to create and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal colleagues and external partners.
  • Initiative: Ability to balance multiple priorities, take initiative, and work well independently in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Dependability: Ability to carry out direction, respond to feedback, and commit to putting in extra time when necessary to reach goals.
  • Quality: Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and always be looking for ways to improve and promote quality.
  • Integrity: Accepts responsibility for own actions and follows through on commitments. Ability to maintain discretion in recognizing, protecting, and adhering to absolute confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as strong internet and web-based software skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain databases including manipulating and extracting data for spreadsheets, and producing compliance-related reports.
