At SYKES, we help people one caring interaction at a time - that includes you! Join us as a Customer Service (Chat) Sales Representative supporting one of our largest Telecom clients at the Fayetteville site! You'll shine in this role if you enjoy connecting with and assisting customers and have a passion for technology. You'll answer inbound customer requests or inquiries concerning service, products, equipment, and report problem areas in a chat environment.

During this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, we're keeping your health and safety top-of-mind. We have implemented the following procedures at our Fayetteville location:
  • Video interviewing tools so you can interview for a job with us right from home!
  • Increased hand sanitizer stations and wipes throughout the facility
  • Mask required 100 percent while in facility
  • Sick call out and assessment with HR
  • Enhance cleaning daily in facility, with a concentration on highly touched surfaces
  • Educational videos and signage throughout the facility providing updates and information
  • Day one education session regarding COVID in and outside of workplace
  • Communication/deep clean/Quarantine process for all positive cases or potential exposure

Required qualifications, skills and experience

Apply with us, if you possess:

• A high school diploma or GED and are at least 18 years old

• Typing speed of 40-50 wpm

• Ability to multitask and independently solve complex issue

• At least 6 months of previous call center customer service experience in a chat environment (preferred)

• Knowledge of internet connectivity, networking (TCP/IP), web (HTTP) and email (POP/SMTP) protocols & terminology (preferred)

• Sales Experience (preferred)
