A trusted advisor to our Senior Business leaders, you'll use your seat at the table to drive business results through communication, marketing and public relations strategies.

Required qualifications, skills and experience

What you'll do:

* Engage with key business leaders to understand objectives and create internal and external communication plans and delivery methods that are effective and measurable.
* Partner with Global Marketing, Operations, HR, Training, Talent Acquisition, and North America business leaders to ensure the SYKES brand and voice are consistent across all NA internal and external facing communications.
* Create PR and media strategies to enhance SYKES' presence and reputation in each of the communities we maintain a presence.
* Guide and direct creation and production of all internal communication
* Build, manage and coach a virtual, high-performing marketing communications team including media relations PR, site branding, crisis communication, HR communication, and communication generalist.

Desired qualifications, skills and experience

Education and Experience

* Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
* 5-7 years of experience in communication strategy for a large complex public organization
* Excellent networking and relationship building with external media
* Solid understanding of various communication channels to fit all functional groups
* Past experience working in a business environment with multiple sites, virtual teams, and multiple lines of business.
* Proven experience dealing with the public and the media
* Ability to travel 30% of the time
* Ability to work collaboratively with the executive team, and all functional groups in the organization
