Intuit Tax product Specialist

Job description

ProConnect Online is Intuit's premier professional tax preparation software in their ProConnect Tax Group, generally used by larger firms with more complex workflows and clients. As a locally installed desktop product, Lacerte customers download the program to prepare tax returns for both individuals and businesses alike. Customer service and technical support experts for Lacerte are a tiered support system depending on the type of assistance their customers may require; whether it be installation of the program (systems), program navigation, input-related questions, or sales. Customer service agents are not required to have any prior tax law knowledge or certifications: through a comprehensive training program, new experts are equipped with the knowledge of the program of how to help our customers develop the tax returns they need for their clients.

Required qualifications, skills and experience

Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with ProConnect Tax Products; research and provide resolution to questions and problems
  • Troubleshoot issues that are technical in nature; including hardware, software and networking
  • Solve problems that may be unstructured and require use of conceptual thinking skills
  • Ensure service delivered to customers meets contractual Key Performance Indicator ('KPIs')
  • Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy and build rapport
  • Prepare complete and accurate work including appropriately notating accounts as required
  • Participate in activities designed to improve customer experience and business performance
