Job Description

The position is responsible for handling inquiries from candidates and current employees dealing with all aspects of the employment life-cycle. Inquiries will be received via telephone, email and chat functionality. The incumbent must be able to navigate through several sources of documentation to provide the employee with correct and up-to-date information. The primary role for this position is to positively impact the employee experience while educating employees on the services and programs administered by HR Central.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adheres to SYKES policies on ethics and integrity.

  • Ability to determine and respond to employee concerns in a predesignated timeframe and efficient manner. These concerns can range from pay and benefits to human resources policies and scheduling.

  • Understands HR policies and best practices as well as being able to translate these to employees.

  • Captures and documents new areas to be added to the HR Central Knowledgebase tool.

  • Develops effective relationships with employees and business leaders to promote good employee relations across the organization.

  • Ensures Agents understand relevant policies and processes at different phases of the employment life cycle.

  • Communicates with co-workers to research problems and find solution.

  • Communicates with management, team members and other teams regarding problems, solutions and trends.

  • Liaises with HR, Payroll, Operations, Support Center and other departments in providing best possible solutions to employees.

  • Composes short written messages that directly respond to employee questions and concerns.

  • Understands problem resolution and the ability to identify escalations as needed.

  • May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
