Sykes Enterprises IncorporatedJob DescriptionJob Title: Generalist II HR Service DeliveryJob Code: 10910Department: Human ResourcesLast Updated: October 5, 2016 SUMMARYThis position provides support in the handling of all human resourcesactivities across multiple centers or for large, complex sites (700 +headcount), by improving efficiencies and customer support within thesite with primary focus on recruitment and retention efforts.Coordinates, trains, and administers human resources programs,processes, activities, and policies for site personnel and participatesin the administration of all human resources activities and function.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:? Adheres to SYKES policies on ethics and integrity.? Assists the US Recruitment team with the recruitment, pre-screening and orientation of qualified new employees to meet the needsof the business.? May supervise other HR personnel and provides guidance to HR andadministrative personnel located at the site.? Acts upon and assists with the thorough and impartialinvestigation of reported incidents concerning workplace harassment(sexual, ethnic, religious, etc.), discrimination, and/or other allegedillegal activities by employees.? Works closely with Site Leadership and HR Management withinvestigation and resolution of misconduct and/or fraud incidents andother employee relations issues.? Strengthen management capability by providing coaching andcounsel to first line managers to strengthen and develop their ownleadership skills.? Prepares and processes employee related HR paperwork forfunctional area according to established procedures.? Liaison between departments on questions concerning payroll andtimekeeping when necessary.? Support Center?s compliance with state/federal employment andbenefit laws, HR policies, and the support center?s personnel policies,procedures, and guidelines.? Assists HR Manager with preparation of terminations, ensureapprovals are gained and all exit paperwork including pay is completed.? Responsible for center's unemployment claims administration andcompany representation at unemployment compensation hearings.? Actively participates in the Site Safety Program.? Maintains records and reports concerning on-the-job injuries andworkers compensation.? Analyze data and use technology to proactively identify anddiagnose business needs / opportunities and develop solutions to meetthose needs? Continually and proactively coaches and counsels the center?smanagement staff on thorough and timely employment record documentation.? Continually monitors, assesses progress, and recommends or takesaction, as necessary, to keep positive perceptions within the center.? May prepare internal employee communications.? Track compliance of required management training.? Supports a union-free environment of positive employee morale,job satisfaction, and positive attitude toward management and its? goalsand objectives.? May perform other additional duties and responsibilities asassigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None Yes (See ?General Management Duties andResponsibilities? addendum)EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 ? 5 years HR related experiencerequired; or equivalent combination of education and HR relatedexperience. PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to performeach essential duty satisfactorily.
