Job Description

This position serves as a member of the Global HR Compliance team in implementing and maintaining company HR compliance programs to ensure consistency and compliance with company policies and procedures and all applicable HR laws and regulations in assigned geographic region.


  • Assists in implementing and maintaining Sykes’ HR Compliance Program for assigned geographic region.
  • Assists in conducting internal reviews and audits of HR policies and procedures related to EEO and AA requirements; identifying possible violations and implementing proactive corrective measures.
  • Participates in HR compliance related projects and audits, including developing project schedules, milestones and communication strategies.
  • Extracts data from HR systems for review and analysis in preparation for internal and external audits, metrics reporting and compliance program development.
  • Researches emerging compliance issues, collects, analyzes and tracks compliance-related data, and prepares resource materials.
  • Assists in the development, monitoring and reporting of Sykes’ affirmative action programs.
  • Assists in the preparation and filing of required government reports, including AA, EEO-1 and VETS-100 reporting and planning.
  • Ensures all sites in geographic region comply with federal, state and local regulatory postings.
  • Assists in the implementation and audit of HR compliance initiatives, including standards of conduct, annual training, performance reviews, data privacy, and other required compliance projects.
  • Assists in the development and review process, documentation, and remediation initiatives for SOX compliance requirements.
  • Assists in litigation, agency charges, and employee relations investigations as needed.
  • Assists in the development of HR Compliance communication and training materials.
  • May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
